General information
Founded by Pope Boniface VIII in 1303, the first name of the university was Studium Urbis, and the current name of the university is Sapienza, which means wisdom. Medical Education at the Sapienza University of Rome
The Faculty of Medicine of the Rome University of La Sapienza offers a highly disciplined and detailed education. The current medical education at the university is not only about examining patients.
