General information
The University of IULM, known as Libera Università di Lingue e Comunicazione, was founded in 1968 by Professor Carlo Bo and Professor Silvio Baridon as the Institute of Modern Languages. In 1998, its name was changed to University of IULM of Languages and Communications.
The main mission of the University of IULM is to attract its alumni to the world of business by assessing the talent shortage that has arisen as a result of various studies in international markets.
The University of IULM has nine laboratories, two research centers, about 240,000 books, 1,300 newspapers, and 13,000 audio resources in its library, making it an important educational institution for those wishing to do research in this area.
Students studying at the University of IULM are offered various three-year courses according to their chosen field: public relations and business communications, communication, media and advertising, interpretation and communication, tourism, culture and region, and communication in culture and arts.
Moreover to these faculty-led courses, various seminars and electives are also offered to students for teaching professional services, business administration, public administration, and cultural organizations. Classroom activities and case studies, internships in Italy and abroad, as well as international student exchanges are carried out so that students can develop and become competent people in their fields.

The University of IULM is located in Milan, on a campus built-in 1993. Easy access to Milan city center. The university is open from 8.30 to 19.30 on weekdays from Monday to Friday, and on Saturday it is open to visitors from 8.30 to 12.30.
Campus life at the University of IULM
Since the University of IULM is located in Milan, it promises an active social life for university students.
With a student pass, students are free to use public transport. The cost of undergraduate studies at the University of IULM is 8400 Euros per year. The cost of the two-year Master's program in English is 9,400 Euros per year. The one-year Master of Science programs in English vary. Prices start at 10,560 Euros per year.
