General information
Founded in 1954 in Milan, it is the first educational institution in Italy that provides education in the disciplines of Design. Scuola Politecnica di Design is important for Italy opened its doors at a time when Italian design was developing as an industrial and cultural object and began to become an international brand.
Young specialists who graduated from this school have the opportunity to work in various large companies, develop and implement their ideas.
Scuola Politecnica di Design is an educational institution with links to many well-known companies. Thanks to close ties with the market, he implements and develops joint projects with many companies such as Microsoft, Audi, Lamborghini, Alfa Romeo, IKEA, Volkswagen, Beiersdorf, Poltrona Frau Grup, Heineken. The courses run by the school for students are organized in cooperation with IULM University. Students enrolled in this school receive academic degree certificates accepted and valid by the Ministry of Universities and Research (MIUR) and the ECTS system.
Each week, the student is checked by teachers to ensure that he is constantly improving. Designs made by students are criticized for their pros and cons, and students have the opportunity to improve their work.
Campus life at Scuola Polytechnic School of Design
Studying in Milan, where the Scuola Politecnica di Design is located, offers unique opportunities in many ways. I'm a current student of Ca' Foscari University of Venice. My bachelor's is in Philosophy, International, and Economic Studies. It was very surprising that here in Italy they offer this interdisciplinary course and without any doubt, I applied. The preparation was not really difficult, because as I mentioned before, I was in the UN club and the exam admission was related to problems around the world.
The process of getting the visa was a little bit complicated but with the assistance of the ApplyItaly team, I did it. Especially for, me coming from Ecuador, the bureaucracy with the embassy was terrible due to the fact that COVID-19 didn't allow me to make the process normally.
