General information
Humanitas University, founded on June 20, 2014, is one of the educational institutions that can be preferred by those who want to study medicine in Italy. Despite the fact that the university is new, students wishing to receive a quality medical education in Italy prefer to enroll at Humanitas University.
Humanitas University, which educates about 800 people, is described as relatively less crowded than other Italian universities. Students / doctoral candidates studying at this university can participate in the Virgilio education program and conduct research that allows them to formulate their own hypotheses and be able to test them in a laboratory setting.
In a simulation center set up at Humanitas University, patients are introduced to various diseases in a virtual environment, and students are expected to find solutions for these diseases. Humanitas University is the largest independent international medical school in Italy, built on the basis of the Humanitas Research Hospital, recognized throughout Europe for its high standards of health and cutting-edge research. There is a simulation center of the latest generation with an area of about 1000 square meters, student dormitories, laboratories with advanced technology, and sports facilities.
Students are assisted diligently throughout the entire application process, from the initial application to the visa procedure and their placement in Italy, by the multilingual student office. The Faculty of Medicine and Surgery last 6 years and is taught in English. The first year is taught in theoretical interdisciplinary subjects, and internships begin in the third year. Humanitas University employs 70 Nobel Prize-winning professors and over 150 clinical faculty members. Humanitas University has an excellent team of doctors who closely follow their students during their practice in the hospital. Moreover, this Humanitas University undergraduate program allows its students to work as doctors in the EU and abroad. Scholarship exam
First of all, you must pass an entrance test in order to enroll in an undergraduate program. The exams are usually held twice a year around the world (including the USA, UK, Canada, and Israel). It is held in March / April for non-European students and in September for European students.
The merit-based scholarships are awarded annually. Large quota reserved for non-European students.
Humanitas University also offers a disciplined intensive preparation course to help students pass the entrance test and enter the university.
Tuition fee
The amount of tuition fees at Humanitas University is determined annually by the university administration. The annual payment for EU students ranges from 10,000 to 16,000 Euros, and for foreign students, this figure reaches 20,000 Euros.
Every year, the university conducts an exam to find the most talented and motivated candidates and to make their educational life easier. Scholarships ranging from 17,000 to 10,000 Euros per year are awarded to the 80 best students as a result of this exam.
Accommodation
Students studying at Humanitas University can choose the Mario Luzzatto student residence, which opened in 2018. This student residence has single and double rooms. At the same time, this building also has a library, classrooms, a sports complex, a terrace, a cafeteria, etc.
Accommodation fees at Humanitas University are provided annually and vary depending on the type of accommodation chosen. The cost of living is from 7 500 Euros per year.
