General information

Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, also known as the University of San Raffaele, began teaching in 1996 with the opening of the Faculty of Psychology. Based on the question “Quid est homo” (What is a person?), the university provides education recognizing that people are biologically, spiritually, and psychologically unique. After the Faculty of Psychology was opened in 1996, the teaching of medicine began in 1998, and the Faculty of Philosophy was opened in 2002.

San Raffaele University, part of the San Donato Group of Hospitals. It has 2,730 students, 106 administrative staff, and 177 professors. This is one of the best educational institutions in Italy. The university, which has undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and research programs, attracts many international students every year and continues to offer quality education to all of its students. San Raffaele University, which provides teaching in medicine, psychology, and philosophy, gives students the opportunity to work with a patient simulator, access to laboratories, practice areas, and clinical departments of the university hospital, especially during their medical education.

Faculty of Medicine

San Raffael University is one of the best universities in Italy for research and teaching. Known in Italy and Europe for its successful research in the field of cancer, urology, cardiovascular diseases, cardiac surgery, HIV / AIDS, preclinical and humanities biological sciences, and some rare diseases. The Faculty of International Medicine of the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University takes a highly integrated and innovative educational approach. The university curriculum, based on internationally recognized models, aims to educate students in successful and effective medical knowledge and practice. Faculty that aims to train physicians with cultural and professional knowledge at an international level.

Tuition fee

Tuition fees at the University of San Raffaele are different for each faculty. The annual fee for medical students from non-European countries is 20,140 Euros. Students wishing to study for master's programs pay an average of 7000 Euros per year (depending on the faculty). Tuition fees are paid in three installments. The university does not offer scholarships for international students. But there are scholarships for all students of the Lombardy region.

Accommodation

San Raffaele University offers its students accommodation in two different areas. Residence Cascina Melghera is 1 minute from the university and Residence Cassinella is 20 minutes from the university. Both residences are newly built and consist of single rooms. Moreover, there are study areas, breakfast areas, lounges, and gyms where students can spend their free time. Students are not allowed to cook in these dorms, but there is equipment to warm up food in the breakfast areas.
