General information

The campus Bio-Medico University of Rome was founded in 1993 with the aim of bringing back the value of human life to biomedical science. This university is a legally recognized private university in Italy.

Initially, the university offered continuing education courses in medicine and surgery. Today the university has 3 faculties aimed at various areas of medicine: Medicine and Surgery, Engineering, Science and Technology for Humanity, and the Environment.

Preparatory Program of Foundation

The purpose of the Foundation Year Program is to provide an opportunity for international students wishing to study in Italy to strengthen their knowledge of the subjects covered by the admission examinations in the 6-year Master's program in Medicine and Surgery and the Bachelor's Degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition, as well as improve your knowledge of Italian / English for academic purposes. Foundation students study physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, logic, and Italian.

Campus Bio-Medico University is located in Rome. Rome is a city where antiquity meets modernity, where monuments of Ancient Rome coexist with works of modern art (MAXXI Museum of Zaha Hadid, Renzo Piano Auditorium, Ara Pacis Museum by Richard Meier) and with masterpieces of the Baroque era. 

Campus life in Campus Bio-Medico University

Scientific and technical training integrated with cultural activities

To enrich the university student experience, the university organizes various excursions to the city's historical and cultural attractions. And also every year, the university organizes theatrical and musical trips to Rome and its surroundings.

Every year, the university organizes the Campus "Got Talent" show, in which students, faculty, and administrative staff can perform individually or in small groups in three categories: singing and music, acting and entertainment, dance, and artistic sports.

University life consists of sports competitions. The Amateur Sports Association Campus Bio-Medico was established in September 2011 to promote and encourage sports activities among students, faculty, staff, and university students. This sports body, governed by a five-member Steering Committee, is recognized by CONI and offers a variety of sports including basketball, football, volleyball, rugby, running, skiing and sailing.

Every year the Association organizes a sports conference within the University “Week of Sports and Culture”. So far, many professionals have participated in this initiative, from Gianni Rivera to Manuela Di Senta, from Bruno Conti to Simone Perrotta, and from Morgan De. Sanctis Rudi Garcia.

Accommodation

University of Rome Campus Bio-Medico offers free assistance in finding accommodation from the first day of enrollment. Thanks to an agreement between the university and private student residences, single and double dorm rooms are available.

Tuition fee

Tuition fees at the university from about 6000-18000 Euros depending on the faculty, the price may vary. The annual fee is payable in 3 installments.

The university also offers scholarships and other forms of benefits to students with economic difficulties.
