General information

The European Institute of Design was founded in 1966 in Milan and today has campuses in the centers of world fashion with a rich history and culture: in Florence, Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Rome, Venice, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo. Nearby are showrooms, fashion houses of world-famous designers, as well as annual international festivals and fashion shows.

Classes are conducted by qualified teachers, industry companies take part in the educational process, and students are involved in research activities.

The university offers university, certificate, master's, and summer school programs in the IED's design, fashion, communication, and visual arts departments. The language of instruction of the programs in English or Italian.

Particularly noteworthy are the interior design, industrial, and automotive design programs.

About 9,000 students from 80 countries of the world study on IED campuses. Lectures, seminars, studio work, master classes, fashion photography for glossy magazines, fashion shows - all this is included in the training program at the IED.

The university is part of the CUMULUS International Association of Universities and Colleges, and also has the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2014-2020 award.

Campus life in European Institute of Design

Confirming its name in the international arena in the field of design, furniture, and fashion, Milan is one of the first alternatives for students who want to study in this field. During Fashion Week, which is held in the city 6 times a year, within a few weeks Milan is transformed into a space for presentations and events. Accommodation

While studying on the Italian campus, students are provided with apartments or apartments in the center of Milan for 1 or 2 people. The cost is specified upon request.
